Papo of France part of Le Toys. Produces high quality movie style figures. The figure appear to be inspired by Jurassic Park and other popular works. More recently Godzilla and King Kong are influences. Typically the figures have moveable jaws and detailed skin and extremities. It is said a figure has 20 coats of paint.  The company raised the ceiling for price and quality.  The 2007 Spinosaurus won a best Toy of the year award. Scale is mixed and the design reflects popular entertainment rather than science. Quality production does not mean accuracy.
